KZ-er on and off since 2014 here, I remember playing kz_otakuroom_v3 when it came out and after a break from kz I can't seem to find it in the global mapcycle list or an explanation on why it was removed, from what I remember there wasn't anything inherently wrong with it. What happened?
It got removed at first due to it containing lolicon (pictures of naked underage anime girl, was banned in some counties etc http://www.kz-climb.com/index.php?threads/lets-talk-about-porn.1189/ if you want to read more about it and discussion which lead the maps to beeing removed) and when I got to fix the GemaYue maps that were broken I was told to leave otakuroom out due to it having poor kz.
Mhhh I see, from what I remember the map itself isnt a bad kz map? I thought it was pretty cool and the design of being a small person in a giant room was also a cool concept! I prefer it alot over many new maps like Kz_surf_kim_hana for example. I think it should be given another chance if the lolicon imagery is removed.
I never found anything particularly bad about the gameplay, but the texturing in some spots is pretty bad on the eyes, and the optimization is awful just like on all other gema yue maps.
