    This run was chosen for the sheer improvement on time and being the first time the Pro time on this map was faster than the TP run. Enjoy :)

    My two cents.

    Great run ruined by unnecessarily high FOV, which makes it quite uncomfortable to watch for me. Also the viewmodel goes inside the walls (for example 2:12, 2:23, 3:02, etc), which is an obvious sign that the FOV is too high.
    Also I like when the footsteps, jumping sounds aren't completely muted throughout the run.
    The video was also a bit dark at some points, I don't know if it was made to "fit the song" or something, but I would've liked to see the run clearly.

    Also, can we please use country music on sach videos, that shit suits him

    thank you for your constructive feedback
    the brightness/contrast in this map changes a bunch so I did bump it up a little bit but not so that it makes the already bright parts even more bright than they already need to. animating it would have looked awkward

    hope these sneak peek of the new intros i made today make up for the rushed video :)

    I'm probably biased because I play mostly shorter maps, but in my opinion this kind of map is boring to watch. The kz and aesthetics are dull and repetitive.

    There is also the problem that once maps gets longer than about 3 minutes, global runs become much less clean and optimised, so the standard of gameplay is lower. On almost any shorter map, it's interesting to watch all the skilled (and lucky :rolleyes:) optimisation, whereas in runs like this ROTW, it's just "oh, cool, he did it without falling".

    To be clear, there are still some long maps that would be interesting (that are more fast-paced and where route actually matters), but I would've much preferred to see a run like linus on natureblock/shark or orbit on unity as ROTW.

    the aesthetics are bad on unity, but the kz is interesting to watch imo.

    I don't care what you call it, I'm just saying that in my opinion its much more entertaining than maps like solidarity.

    edit: do you guys disagree with my point or are you just being edgy?

    Either way it is an Orbit map or an Orbit run so its a win win ^.^

    Just to clarify as I always give runs a "grace" period after they are obtained before releasing them. So runs like shark and unity weren't eligible this week but are eligible for next week. I would've put zach's comp run on the channel but it got beat by blasdfa relatively quickly proving the point of allowing time. So therefore atm in my head Linus' shark run is in the lead for ROTW this coming weekend.

    Basically if a run is obtained during that weekend im releasing a ROTW its available for next.
