Enabling jump bind?

Hey all. I know the bind is almost universally hated but me and my friend like using it on our private server.
Plus my keyboard hand is fucked so I struggle to play without it.

Anyway the server disables the bind from working properly but only when the timer is running. Would love to know how to stop this, thanks <3

 

Press crouch then jump 1 tick later. Or don't use your timer and use the bind lol.

 

Its not a bait, I also know how to crouch jump normally.

You guys realise a lot of people have always used the bind and still do.

 

yes but they don't get the height boost with timer on, which is the point of the fix

 

Yea I know, I'm asking how that can be undone. Its purely for my private server, it isn't connected to the global database or anything.

 

Can't quit, kz is my crack. I don't play to compete with anyone but myself so I don't care that I use the bind.

I also want the bind for me and a few friends, so I tried running an older version of KZ. However, when I run the old versions, knives with skins cannot prestrafe and USP movespeed is capped at 240. Is there a way to fix this?

I can pre as usual with the most current KZTimer. When I copy the old version into my server folder, the problem comes up

 

I mean it depends on which old version you're trying out I think. I don't know which one but I remember valve destroyed prestrafe some time ago and one of the kztimer versions fixed it.
But honestly, why bother. The height isn't that advantageous, especially if you're playing casually for fun.

 

just run with livesplit instead of the ingame timer))
